Comprehensive Warranty : 1 Year
Additional Extended Warranty : 1 Year on Panel. Applicable on all Google TV’s.
Important Notes:
- Proof of purchase is a pre-requisite to claim warranty under this Warranty/service policy
- The Warranty Period is effective from the date of purchase of the product mentioned on the original purchase invoice.
- Warranty on Remote is 6 months only from DOP. ( No warranty on Battery)
- Warranty is applicable only for the functional parts. It is not valid for the Aesthetical /Plastic Parts.
- Additional 1 year panel warranty is applicable only on Android & Google TV’s.
- First installation will be done Free of Cost and all subsequent installations will be on chargeable basis.
- Additional or extended warranty on the panel will only include free replacement of the panel, and the customer shall be liable for all other incidental expenses like labour charges, etc.
- The customer shall pay visit charges, parts costs, and transportation in case the product is found to be void or out of warranty.
- Standard installation is free of charge for the customer. In the case of any customised wall mounting, the customer has to pay all additional charges, and such customised installation will be done solely at the customer’s risk.
- In the event of the company offering EXTENDED WARRANTY period for any specific product / period, it is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER to get the warranty registered by visiting link or visiting the nearest Authorized Service Center of the company within 15 days of purchasing under such an offer, at the purchaser’s cost and risk only.
General Terms & Conditions
- This warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the product only.
- This warranty is applicable only for the personal use of product by purchaser and warranty will be void if product is used for any commercial purpose.
- Repair or replacement will be carried out through the Company’s Own /Authorized Service Centre.
- In the event of repairs/replacement of any part/s of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.
- The company or its Authorized Service Centre, reserves the right to retain any part/s or component/s replaced at it’s discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the equipment during the warranty period.
- Demonstration/installation of the product purchased is free of cost for one time, and will be chargeable afterwards in case of re-installation/demo.
- The company's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of part/s only. The maximum claim/s if entertained by the company will subject to the maximum retail price of the product purchased or the purchase price, whichever is lower.
- In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, spares not being available, the company's prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the purchaser to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.
- Sansui shall not be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage that may result from use or inability to use the product.
- Under no circumstances shall Sansui be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the product.
- The company's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or providing replacement of part/s, which are found to be defective.
- Charges are applicable if any other activity is asked by the customer beyond the standard Installation charges for the product.
The warranty is not applicable in the following conditions -
- The product is used for commercial purpose instead of personal use.
- The stamped and signed warranty card/invoice original copy is not presented to authorized personnel at the time of repair.
- The product is not purchased from an Authorized Sales Channel of Sansui.
- The product is not used as per the instructions given in the instruction/user manual.
- Defects caused by improper use as determined by the company personnel.
- Modification or alteration of any nature is made in the electrical circuitry/physical tampering of the product.
- Installation/repair work is carried out by persons/agency other than a person authorized by the company.
- Premises where the product is kept, conditions that do not conform to the recommended operating conditions of the product.
- The original serial number is removed, obliterated or altered from the product or cabinet.
- Defects due to cause beyond control like lightning, abnormal voltage, acts of God or while in transit to Service Centre or purchaser's residence (if carried by customer to Service Centre/or packing box not provided by customer while handing over the product to engineer for taking it to Service Centre).
- Warranty does not cover any third party software, settings, content, data or links, whether included/downloaded in product.
- Warranty does not cover defects or alleged defects caused by the fact that the product was used with, or connected to, a product, accessories, software and/or service not manufactured, supplied or authorized by SANSUI or was used otherwise than for its intended use, Defects can be caused by viruses from your or from third party is unauthorized access to services, other accounts, computer systems or networks. This unauthorized access can take place through hacking, password-mining or through a variety of means.
